Low density polyethylene (LDPE)

LDPE also known as high pressure polyethylene, is a kind of plastic material, it is suitable for thermoplastic molding processing of all kinds of molding technology, good molding processing. LDPE is mainly used for film products, injection molding products, medical appliances, pharmaceutical and food packaging materials, blow molding hollow molding products, etc.

About LDPE

LDPE Granules Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) is an easily recycled, versatile thermoplastic. LDPE is formed into thin films for use as grocery bags, food wrapping material, power cable sheathing and worktable coating. Laboratory containers used in chemical research are often made from primarily LDPE.

LDPE Resistance

Excellent resistance (no attack) to dilute and concentrated Acids, Alcohols, Bases and Esters.

Good resistance (minor attack) to Aldehydes, Ketones and Vegetable Oils.

Limited resistance (moderate attack suitable for short term use only) to Aliphatic and Aromatic Hydrocarbons, Mineral Oils and Oxidizing Agents.

Poor resistance and not recommended for use with Halogenated Hydrocarbons.
