Manufacturing Methods :
(a) 4-(Dimethylamino)benzaldehyde (1 Moore) and 3-(Ethyl(phenyl)amino)methyl)benzenesulfonic acid (2 Moore), condensation product oxidation, and translated into sodium salt; (b) 3-(Ethyl(phenyl)amino)methyl)benzenesulfonic acid (2 Moore) and Formaldehyde (1 Moore), then in N,N-dimethylaniline presence oxidation.
Properties and Applications: bright blue purple. Violet powder. It is easy to dissolve in the cold water and hot water (purple), soluble in ethanol (purple). Strong sulfuric acid in orange, diluted mustard color. Add sodium hydroxide solution for the dark precipitation. Mainly used for wool, silk, polyamide fiber dyeing, spelling color performance is good, refined as food after dye.
